I’m a Trinidadian-British marine biologist specialising in deep-sea biology. I study the weird and wonderful animals living in a range of deep-sea habitats and how our actions are impacting them. In 2018, I will begin a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellowship at the Natural History Museum, London, UK, having recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA. I’ve participated in deep-sea expeditions around the world and have an extensive science communication and outreach record.
