I am a Trinidadian marine biologist specialising in deep-sea biology.
I study the weird and wonderful animals living in a range of deep-sea habitats and how our actions are impacting them.
I have participated in deep-sea expeditions around the world and have an extensive science communication and outreach record.
I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Natural History Museum, London.
I am also a co-founder of the non-profit NGO, SpeSeas, dedicated to increasing marine science, education and advocacy in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
